Hidden gem of Puerto Rico

Night could not come quickly enough on July 3rd, 2018! For those that may not know, temperatures in Texas tend to increase as the day wanes, with a high of 104° F (40° C) hitting around 4pm. So to say that I was cooking from the inside out would not be an understatement. I left the festival area around 7:30pm to go scout out the perfect location to grab some firework pictures where you could see both Downtown and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. Once the vantage point was picked, the wind picked up and nearly knocked my setup right over, but it was a blessing in disguise, as the gusts seemed to have swept all the bugs and heat away once it died down. As we waited for the show to begin, you could see each skyline building light up, one by one, like a pretty little symphony of red, white, and blue. Everyone settled in and sat patiently for that ceremonious BOOM at 9:30pm sharp! The marvel of greens and blues and whites and reds continued for the next half hour with a glorious finale to wrap up the evening and a wonderful salute to the US of A. Check out our pictures from the event below as well as a description of equipment and details.
